Your help is needed!  If you would like to be a part of this project that sends quilts to women and children recovering in the Heal Africa hospital in Goma, Congo, please come and complete any of those unfinished quilts you’ve been meaning to finish and donate them to this very worthy cause.  Our classroom is available Friday, April 18th – we hope to see you then.      

 

COLLEGE GRADUATES IN YOUR FUTURE?

We have college quilts!  These are licensed collegiate insignias (already embroidered!) plus the fabric you need to make a wonderful quilt for your graduating college student (or the alumni in your life!).  We have a sample of the Cal Berkeley quilt in the shop.  Contact the shop (roxie@thimblecreek.com) to see if your favorite quilt is available – and we’ll special order this keepsake heirloom quilt kit for you!    

Quilts for Congolese Women Rape and sexual violence of women and children in eastern Congo leave many survivors with lesions, traumatic fistulae and other physical and psychological wounds. If you would like to be a part of this project that sends quilts to women and children recovering in the Heal Africa hospital in Goma, Congo, please come and complete any of those unfi nished quilts you’ve been meaning to finish and donate them to this very worthy cause. Coffee and refreshments will be served. We are also the drop-off location for anyone who would like to donate quilts. The next ship date for quilts being sent to the Congo is February 1 so please have your donated quilts delivered to ThimbleCreek by the last week of January.
