Drop In Classes

New Drop In Class! Joe is back! He will have a drop in class on Wednesday nights, beginning April 9th. The time is 6 - 9:30pm and the cost is only $10.00! Come sew with Joe!

Quilts for Congolese Women (Message from Barbara and photos, click here)
We want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you so have so generously given your time to make and donate quilts for the Women and Children who are recovering in the Heal Africa hospital in Goma, Congo. These survivors of rape, sexual violence, traumatic fistulae and other physical and psychological wounds are so grateful for the quilts they are receiving. Please go to our website, www.thimblecreek.com and click on Quilts for Congolese Women and Children to view photos of our donated quilts being delivered to the Heal Hospital.
We are going to continue to meet once a month and if you would like to be a part of this project that sends quilts to the Congo, please come and complete any of those unfinished quilts you’ve been meaning to finish and donate them to this very worthy cause. Coffee and refreshments will be served. We are also the drop-off location for anyone who would like to donate quilts. The next ship date for quilts being sent to the Congo is August 1 so please have your donated quilts delivered to ThimbleCreek by the last week of July.
